Review: Dr LeWinn's Eternal Youth Insta-Perfect Blur Cream *

Blur creams are getting increasingly popular, so it's no surprise that Dr. LeWinn's would get on that bandwagon too! This is part of their Eternal Youth range.

This particular product comes in a great ombre silver/black tube that has a screw cap and contains 30 of cream.

The product itself is a thick, white cream that is easy to squeeze out. It is also quite smooth and while the consistency is that of body butter, it does spread nicely on the skin. There is also a very slight bit of a floral scent to it. I have found this to take a little while get to get absorbed. I use this over primer and under foundation, and this doesn't seem to react badly or ball up with either  of them.

Does this work? It doesn't seem to make a huge difference to the minutiae, but it does add a bit of a lift to my skin, making it so that it's a little more luminous and smoother. It just seems to light up my face a bit more, if that makes sense.

Overall, I think this does make a bit of a positive difference to my makeup and appearance - just don't expect it to be a dramatic one!

Have you tried any blurring products in the past? Which one has been your favourite?

  1. I've got the L'Oreal one but haven't got around to trying it under makeup.

  2. I received this through beautyheaven to trial and did not like it at all! Did the compete opposite of 'perfecting' my skin. In fact, made my skin look dry and dull-an issue I've never had before. And it broke me out. I ditched it immediately!

  4. Blur creams seems to cover up my pores really well but they break me out quite a bit, and most ball up foundation so this sounds pretty good!

  5. I think blur creams are overrated! And like Lily, they tend to break me out...

  6. This cream goes on ok but it makes applying anything to your skin terrible - skin goes dry and dull and foundation doesn't spread over it - yuk!
