Brand Focus: The Jojoba Company Gua Sha Harvest Set

Can we please have a moment to appreciate The Jojoba Company? I have loved this brand for so long, and tried a variety of products from the brand throughout the years, and it's honestly a company that I can see myself continuing to love long term! If you're interested in reading through what I've previously tried from The Jojoba Company, make sure you use the search function on the page - I did consider adding them to this post, but at first count, there were at least 11 previous posts, and I just didn't think there would be enough room on here to put them all!

So, what are the key points of the latest Jojoba Company kit that I'm excited to talk to you guys about? It's all the good things you've come to expect from the Jojoba Company, and that is that it's:

  • great for soothing dryness, dehydration, irritation and inflammation
  • rich in Vitamins A, D and E, as well as omegas 6 and 9
  • fantastic for moisturising and repairing sensitive skin

For those keen to try The Jojoba Company, but aren't convinced from the above (I don't know how you couldn't be!), this multipurpose face oil can be used in a myriad of ways, such as on the cuticles to help nourish the skin to extend the life of your manicure. It can also be added to hair, either as a few drops to your conditioner, so that it can help nourish dry ends, or as a pre-shampoo treatment, where you apply it all the way through from roots to tips - it can even be left on overnight for a more intense treatment. A little dab of it can be helpful with settling flyaways and frizz, as well as adding a bit of a shine, but be careful, you'd want to be sparing with it.

If you keep it in the bathroom, you can also consider adding a couple drops of this into your bath water as a bath oil. My favourite way to use it is after my serum, just before applying moisturiser. When I feel like my skin could use an extra shot of hydration, I sometimes add it to my moisturiser as well, and that also goes for my body lotion, when I want that extra layer of nourishment. Otherwise, I also enjoy using it on it's own, as it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky.

One upside of using it on the face is that you can pair it with a facial roller, or gua sha, such as the one included in this kit, to help massage the skin for additional benefits, as well as having it as a mindful exercise. I would also highly recommend reading up on how you're meant to use a gua sha correctly, as too often, I find people can be overly soft with it, rather than applying it to the skin firmly, like it's meant to be used. I love that it sits at a relatively accessible price, while not compromising on quality, which is how it should be! You can find it over here on their website for $52.95. Do you use a roller or gua sha with your Jojoba Company products?
