Review: La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C Eye Cream

I love my sleep, I just don't seem to have enough hours in the world to get what I want done, in addition to catching all the zzzs I would like to net. On my days off, at least, I can get some things done, and catch an afternoon nap, but those days are truly few and far between. It's a good thing that I always have a steady stream of goodies in my environment, and this time, it's the La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C Eye Cream, which, spoiler, has been a pleasure to use!

In fact, so much so that I was about halfway through the tube before I realised that the pictures I took of it were so terrible, I had to do them again, hence why you're staring at half a tube of eye cream at the moment. This eye cream is designed to moisturise the eye region, while also reducing the appearance of dark spots, helping to even it out, and adding radiance to the area. It's also meant to help smooth, soften and fill the fine lines.

This comes in a white tube with a screw cap that has a very thin nozzle to help titrate the amount of product that you want to squeeze out of it, and I find about a half inch length to be helpful for my skin. This eye cream is made for babes who want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, add radiance to the skin and improve firmness, and to do so, it uses a few of my favourite ingredients! Firstly, as the name would indicate, there's Vitamin C in it to help improve skin texture and luminosity. Then, there's also hyaluronic acid to smooth and hydrate the skin, helping to plump it, so that it looks fuller.

This also has mannose in it, which is supposed to optimise the interaction of light with the skin, thereby helping with smoothing the appearance of the skin. There's something called neurosensine, which is meant to help smooth the skin, and of course, this includes the thermal water that is in every La Roche-Posay, to keep the skin soft. This has a medium consistency, and I love that this thins out beautifully when it's tapped into the skin.

This eye cream retails for about $62, and I think I bought this from Adore Beauty a few months ago. It seems to do quite a nice job of keeping the skin puff-free, while also helping to hydrate the region around the eyes, which is particularly important this time of the year. It's a very pleasant, and easy, eye cream to love, despite not being massively life changing. The dark eye circles aren't budging with this, but overall, it's been very helpful for keeping other things, like fine lines, at a minimum. What's your go to eye cream?
