Review: Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Mist Serum

Having been in the beauty space now for over a decade, it's been really interesting to see how things, and products have evolved over time. While I've seen a rise and fall in the popularity of certain active ingredients, and the emergence of vegan alternatives to be more inclusive, and types of products that weren't talked about as much when I was younger, like K-beauty, or misting sprays, you do seem to get to a saturation point where you think that you might have seen it all. Then, you suddenly meet a product that turns it all on it's head, and that's exactly what the Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Mist Serum has done for me!

My first thought was - good golly, what is this? And where does it now fit into my skincare routine? How often should I use it? Well, I tested it out so that I could get some answers just for you guys - you know, a purely unselfish reason on my part. And if my skin now looks better for it, well, that's just what had to happen in order for me to get the most out of it for you guys. Let me explain what this is exactly.  The Medicube PDRN Pink Collage Glow Jelly Mist Serum is a dual-phase 2-in-1 facial mist and serum!

And yes, I can hear you say, well, duh, of course it is! It's pretty much in the name - mist serum? Sure, it is, but this little baby is so much more fun than simply being a spray - it's also really cute, and unexpectedly good to look at. Perfect for a shelfie, if you will - remember when that was all the rage? This is designed to deliver deep hydration, firm up the skin, and give it a dewy finish, perfect for all the babes who are really into having that glass skin sheen.

This is presented as a jelly in a clear, cylindrical bottle with a great misting pump that sprays a very fine, well, mist onto the skin with each push. While the packaging is excellent, what's really pretty is the product itself. At first glance, this looks like a bottle full of pale pink jelly, almost like fish eggs, and you're left wondering how this is supposed to spread over the skin. I honestly don't know how it actually works, but all you have to do is shake it up to activate it, then squeeze the pump! This contains some very delicious key ingredients to keep the skin happy.

These include 80.9% collagen water and 10.8 ppm collagen to help keep the skin plump, which niacinamide and glutathione are meant to have your skin looking clear and bright. There's also 1,081 ppm salmon PDRN to assist with cellular repair and elasticity, while cyanocolalamin and alkanna tinctoria root extract help with keeping the skin healthy and giving the product that pinky shade. Like most sprays these days, this can be used before your makeup application to help prep the skin, as a refresher, or over the makeup to help the makeup set. I love how light this is on my skin, and how surprisingly hydrating it seems to be. This retails for about $30, and can be found where Medicube is stocked. What's your go to refresher spray?
