Review: Butt Naked Body Glow Illuminating Body Oil

Happy Sunday, my little kittens! It's been really nice to be back on home soil here, and I've had the chance to catch up with a few friends and chew the fat. As an extroverted introvert, where I charge my batteries better on my own, but still seek out the company of others for lots of interactions, and this weekend has been chock full of it! Being back on home turf also means being able to wind down with some products that I've been loving, and finally getting a chance to write about. Of course, in this case, I'm talking about the Butt Naked Body Glow Illuminating Body Oil.

I spied it on The Iconic recently when I was looking for other products, and I couldn't stop thinking about how gorgeous it looked in the shots, and ended up going back for it. When products haunt me and all I can think about is what they might be like, I HAVE to buy it and try it for myself! This is marketed as an oil that's meant to promote a healthy and glowing complexion, one that's meant to leave the skin feeling hydrated, smooth and soft, all while staying lightweight on the skin and giving the skin that good glow, getting rid of dullness.

This is comprised of a blend of skin nourishing ingredients, all mixed together to get your skin shimmering with a sunkissed goodness. This contains coconut oil, which is meant to help soften and moisturise the skin, while also soothing it. There's also olive squalene, which promises to improve skin elasticity, while also retaining moisture and softening the skin. There's also some sweet almond oil, which is swirling with antioxidants and essential proteins to help support the skin.

This is a certified cruelty free, vegan and palm oil free product, and it all comes packaged as a shimmering brown oil in a clear bottle with a good pump. This has a slight scent of coconut, which doesn't linger, but instead, is overtaken by a zesty lemon fragrance, which does stay for a little bit. I love that it's beautiful in the bottle, and also on the skin! It's a relatively dry oil, which means that when you use this sparingly, this looks stunning on the skin, and you don't end up feeling greasy.

My skin does feel soft and beautifully moisturised when I've used this, and it leaves my skin looking like I've led a luxurious few days somewhere exotic. This retails for around $43 for 80g of product, and it's something that I like reaching for on the days when I've been able to head out into the sunshine for a bit. It makes me feel like I've just been on a vacation and having that post holiday state of relaxation mindset is just delicious. You can find it online at various retailers, including The Iconic over here. Are you keen on an illuminating body oil?
